You’ll be coming into a newly created and crucial role to manage the end-to-end commercialization process to bring new products to market and launch new manufacturing lines successfully and efficiently. This isn’t a product innovation role, as you’ll be working closely with the product developers, but more of taking those products to scale and launch. You’ll be leading the Stage-Gate process for all assigned projects; leading teams through critical checkpoints, including analysis and prioritization of risks and opportunities

You’ll have complete autonomy from your line manager who has already told me that he wants you to come in and implement systems, processes and best practices. This is your opportunity to really shape the department.

You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling the company’s growth, of which the wheels are already in motion for new lines and additional plants. You’ll need to be someone that can build strong relationships cross-functionally with the likes of Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality.

The good news is that you can wave goodbye to politics and corporate stuffiness! Things here happen quickly and it’s a close but collaborative team. Because of that you’ll need to be someone that can sometimes work in ambiguity and take initiative. This perhaps isn’t right for you if you want someone to map out your work for you. It’s time for you to take the lead.

You’ll ideally need to have come from a food manufacturing background, and if not food then some form of manufacturing. BUT you will need to have led processes and projects, be able to talk about how you’ve overcome difficult moments and tight timelines.
