Salary £44,000 – £46,000

Are you an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer with a background in FMCG or the food industry, seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team at their Lincoln Fresh site.

Our client is a large national business undergoing large growth within the industry, specialising in producing high-quality products. They are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fault finding, problem solving, and both planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to enhance reliability and performance.
• Respond to internal customer needs to optimize production time according to set priorities.
• Adhere to food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is executed correctly and safely.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, ensuring it is audit-ready.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote health & safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and repair a range of manufacturing, production, and packaging machinery.

Rotating shifts: 3 / 4 days (Wednesday-Saturday)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Be an apprentice trained engineer with a formal electrical engineering qualification.
• Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG.
• Utilise a proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Have experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding would be essential.
• Ideally trained to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Engineering 
• 18th Edition Electrical 
• IOSH qualification 
• Experience in PLC fault analysis would be preferred
