I am currently recruiting for a skilled Days Shift Engineer to join a small team within a busy, fast-paced environment. The role will involve both reactive and preventative maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment
• Work efficiently as part of a small engineering team to ensure minimal downtime
• Use both electrical and mechanical skills to resolve issues, with an ideal electrical bias
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential problems before they arise
• Ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure in a busy site environment
• Previous reliability engineering exposure would be advantageous

The Ideal Candidate:

• A blend of electrical and mechanical skills, with a slight electrical bias
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in manufacturing or similar sectors
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to both preventative and reactive maintenance
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team and independently when required

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 14:30
