Location: North Cambridgeshire

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000

This QA role focuses on ensuring product quality and compliance within a manufacturing or food production environment. Key responsibilities include handling and logging customer complaints, conducting internal audits (GMP, system, glass, and hard plastic), and calibrating key QA equipment. The role also involves performing product testing, including ATP and microbiological tests, to ensure that processing equipment meets safety standards.

In addition, the position requires managing stock releases, raising purchase orders for consumables, and supporting audits by creating internal audit packs and assisting in closing out non-conformances. You will also play a role in implementing new technical systems and conducting traceability exercises.

The role requires flexibility, as you may need to deputize for QA specialists or technical officers during breaks, holidays, or sickness, which could involve shift work. Finally, you’ll be responsible for sending finished product samples to external labs and handling any other tasks assigned by your supervisor or manager.
