QA Manager/Junior Technical Manager

Kent- £40,000/£45,000

I am recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing company who are committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. They are looking for a Technical Manager to drive food safety, compliance, and quality across their site. This role is suitable for someone who is looking to progress their career, therefore I am looking to speak to QA Managers/Senior Food Technologists or Assistant Technical Managers who are wanting to take on extra responsibility. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards.
• Lead and improve GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP controls.
• Manage audits, including BRC and customer audits.
• Handle complaints, product conformance, and root cause analysis.
• Coach and develop the QC and Hygiene teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and external audits.

Qualifications:

• Experience working within a similar food manufacturing role.
• Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP (essential).
• Experience with BRCGS and customer standards.
• People management experience.
