Senior Technical Manager Food Manufacturing South Lincolnshire £70,000 + Car allowance & bonus Let’s start with the obvious: this is not a role for someone who’s happy to tick boxes and keep the wheels turning. This is a senior technical leadership role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment – the kind where things move quickly, problems don’t politely announce themselves, and your ability to lead people through complexity is what keeps the show on the road. You’ll be responsible for everything that keeps the factory compliant, safe, and trusted – quality, food safety, legality, brand integrity, sustainability, all of it. But it’s not just about compliance. You’ll also be expected to drive standards forward. That means taking technical strategy off the PowerPoint and into real life – embedding it across your site, influencing operations, and building the kind of culture where doing things right isn’t a project, it’s just how people work. You’ll be the bridge between site leadership, group technical, and the customer – making sure everyone’s pulling in the same direction and that when the customer walks through the door, you’re showing them a site that’s confident, capable, and audit-ready. You’ll also own the technical performance plan for your site – everything from raw material management and food safety systems to process improvement and team capability. And because this is a senior role, you’ll be leading a team of technical professionals – developing them, coaching them, and creating future leaders. Background Given the scale and pace of the site, you’ll need experience as a Senior Site Technical Manager within a faced paced food manufacturing site. The customer based is extremely broad so a good level of exposure to retail own label as well as branded would be beneficial. Next Steps: If this sounds like something that sparks a bit of interest – apply below, let’s have a confidential conversation and who knows, this could be the role you didn’t know you were looking for.
