Location: North Yorkshire

Role Overview:

As a Specifications Technologist, you’ll ensure all product specifications and artwork comply with legal, food safety, and quality standards. You’ll manage the end-to-end specification process, including creating and maintaining accurate specifications, overseeing technical sign-off for packaging and artwork, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product launch deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and validate finished product specifications.
• Manage the full specification approval process.
• Ensure packaging and artwork accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to meet critical launch dates.

What You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and allergen control.
• Experience and demonstrable competency in completing customer format specifications end to end (M&S would be ideal) and creating in house format specifications.
