Customer Operations Representative / Customer Order Representative - An opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join the UK & Export Customer Service Team of an International FMCG. Customer Operations Representative / Customer Order Representative - This is a key role - the customer service department is a key point of contact for all customers (UK and Export). The department is responsible for processing orders and delivering precise, timely execution through each stage of the supply chain through to invoicing within agreed customer service targets.
Customer Operations Representative / Customer Order Representative – day to day responsibilities will include;
- Precise order capture and conversion to delivery, covering both manual entry and system generated orders.
- Reviewing stock availability to meet orders, identify issues and undertake appropriate actions.
- Driving DOTIF (Delivered On-time In-full) through collaboration with the group logistics manager.
- Accurate and timely processing of all credit and debit notes.
- Resolving customer queries and responding efficiently to information requests.
- Building effective relationships with customers and other functions, principally commercial account managers, finance and planning.
- Daily contact with customers and 3rd party logistics providers.
- Monitoring 3rd party delivery performance to ensure all agreed criteria is adhered to.
- Accuracy of monthly customer services reporting to implement change and drive continuous improvement.
Customer Operations Representative / Customer Order Representative - to be great at this job you will need;
- A 'customer come first' approach with successful experience in a similar customer service position from within a fast paced time pressurised working environment
- Excellent IT & System skills including Excel. ERP & retailer supply chain systems (SAP etc) would be advantageous but not essential
- Confident, articulate and clear communication skills with the ability to influence and build rewarding customer and colleague relationships
- Calm, logical and analytical thinker with fantastic problem solving skills, highly planned & organised
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical and reporting skills
