It's not all been good news recently, but the food industry has remained stable over the last year and is looking to kick on throughout 2021.

Over the last year, uncertainty has dominated the news and job industries have unfortunately suffered, but it's not all doom and gloom. The chance to join an expanding company in a growing industry is therefore hard to come by. However, this opportunity provides that.

This opportunity is a Multi-Skilled Engineer position with a national food company working in their maintenance team. The successful candidate will be joining an established and supportive environment where they can develop their professional and personal skills. With plenty of opportunities further down the line this opportunity should this be of interest for someone motivated to get involved and progress. What more could you want?

Based in Lincolnshire, you will be joining a forward-thinking company who are looking for motivated engineers who want to make an impact. You'll have the chance to join a reputable food business in a booming industry who have a  successful maintenance, but that's not all. With chances to develop your skillset through training provided by the company and external courses, you'll be in a great position to develop your whole engineering skillset and have a long-term impact.

To be a good fit for this job there are a few things you’ll need. Firstly, you’ll ideally need to be electrically biased and trained, ideally with experience in the food or FMCG industry. It is also an advantage if you are a time-served apprentice / level 3 qualified but this is not essential. Despite this role being electrically biased, if you have a good multi-skilled background and have worked in maintenance roles previously then you'll be at an advantage.

However, if you do not meet all of the listed criteria but are looking to expand your skillset then do not rule yourself out.

If you’re interested in this opportunity and your CV is ready then hit the apply button and expect to hear from me soon. Alternatively, if you’re CV isn’t ready or you just want a quick chat about the role then give me (Gianni) a call on 01733 391515 or drop me an email at gianni@thesterlingchoice.com.
