This opportunity is an Electrical Engineer position with a national food company working in their long-standing facility in their experienced maintenance team. Based closed to Stockport, you will be a key part of the maintenance team working across proactive and reactive maintenance as well as site projects and improvements when required. This role will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (4 days, 4 off, 4 nights) so you'll have plenty of time off between shifts.
To be a good fit for this job there are a few things you’ll need. Firstly, you’ll ideally need to be very confident across electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment, ideally the food industry or a fast-paced environment. You should be experienced in PLC fault finding across major brands. You should also be a time-serviced apprentice (or equivalent). Any further supporting qualifications are highly advantageous.
