HR & Recruitment Advisor - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, confident, dynamic, and highly motivated HR & Recruitment Advisor to join a busy Human Resources team. Based at the large Barnsley site you will be predominantly responsible for all aspects of permanent and temporary labour planning and recruitment activities as well as providing front line advice and support for HR related matters to management and colleagues.
HR & Recruitment Advisor - Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Manage all aspects of permanent and temporary labour planning and recruitment activities working closely with the production management teams and head of functions to include; continual monitoring and review of the sites establishment plan, Forecasting, KPI’s, Agency management, Pay Benchmarking, Designing attractive adverts.
- Manage transfer requests and flexible working applications in line with Company policy and current legislation.
- Dealing with variations to terms and conditions
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly HR metrics (Turnover, retention etc.)
- Regular factory visits
- Play a leading role in turnover and retention projects
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of all aspects of new starter and leaver procedures
- Provide front line advice and support for HR related matters to management and colleagues.
- Dealing with ER queries such as investigation, discipline, grievance as required.
- Lead the internal and external audit requirements for the HR team to ensure compliance in your designated business areas, including upkeep of SEDEX (on-line platform)
- Lead and support on a wide range of HR related projects / initiatives in accordance with the overall HR Strategy
HR & Recruitment Advisor - Required experience, knowledge & skills;
- Recruitment & HR generalist experience gained in a similar role (preferably within production / manufacturing)
- Experience of working with and recruiting multiple work patterns and shift structures
- Pro-active with the ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast-paced, highly pressured environment and with a varied and full workload
- Ideally CIPD qualified – level 5 or above
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and with meticulous attention to detail
- Track record of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Confident and articulate communicator, with strong numerical & IT skills including Microsoft Excel
HR & Recruitment Advisor - Daily working hours
8am-4pm Monday to Friday onsite however flexibility around core hours to support the various shift patterns is essential.
