Sheep or Shepherd?
Most people consider themselves leaders, but how many actually are?
I need a proper leader. Not someone that just hides behind the shadows of other people and tries to pass their work off as their own, but someone that is willing to grab the hygiene function by its metaphorical cojones and drag it forward.
Being the accomplished Hygiene Manager that you are, you know all about how to keep the factory clean and safe, and keep customers happy so I won't sit here and bore you with a bullet pointed set of responsibilities.
You'll be coming in to the business and seen as the Hygiene expert (and rightfully so!) leaving you with full autonomy to make the changes you want to make.
Unfortunately this one isn't suitable for someone looking to step up in to management. You will need to be able to demonstrate how you have previously developed a large Hygiene function, on top of contributing to maintaining audit scores, implementing CIC's etc.
Being a high care environment where deep cleans are taking place every night, you will need experience in this, and be able to talk about how you've implemented listeria management, improved micro pass rates etc.
Sounds a lot, and quite demanding and you're not wrong!
But in return you will be stepping in to a business that is built on its people, and is constantly reinvesting their money in to the business (40% of profits every year to be precise.)
The company are also big on their internal development and progression, opening up promotion opportunities further down the line.
