Are you an Engineer looking for a Multi-Skilled position in a booming industry at a national company?
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled engineer (mechanical bias) to join the maintenance team of one of the country's most well-known businesses. You will be working on both the proactive and reactive elements including breakdowns, PPM and scheduled maintenance as well as being an active part of improvements, projects and health and safety. As part of the food industry, this is a great opportunity for someone to join a challenging and key industry where down time needs to be minimised.
You’ll be part of an exciting and challenging team with plenty of opportunities to progress and develop further down the line. Operating on a national scale, this opportunity is a great chance to join a team where you will be able to influence the day to day running of the site but also be supported as a key team player.
If you are based in the North East / Middlesbrough area or are open to relocation and are looking for an opportunity where you will be kept on your toes in an exciting environment then this could be the right move for you.
This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically biased but has worked in multi skilled roles over their career and is looking to continue doing this moving forwards. You should have worked in a manufacturing environment (ideally food or FMCG) and be a proactive individual with a passion for minimising down time. Ideally you will also be a time served apprentice with supporting qualifications. If you are looking for a position that will be challenging but help to develop you both personally and professionally then this could be the ideal next move for you.
If this sounds like the role for you and you are ticking the boxes then I look forward to receiving your application. If you do not meet everything mentioned then do not be put off from applying as I am looking to hear from engineers of all backgrounds.
This role is a Monday to Friday position so is ideal for someone who wants to keep their weekends free.
