The chance to work for one of the largest food manufacturers in the area with a national reach isn't always easy to come by, but this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Working in a modern and fully-serviced factory, you'll be a part of a team of highly-skilled engineers working across every aspect of maintenance, focusing on Electrical work. As a market-leader in the food industry, the standards are high which means ensuring down time is minised and machine performance is the best is paramount.
Depsite being electrically biased, this is a varied role so you'll work across both electrical and mechanical maintenance. You might be working on control panels, inverters, motors, pneumatics and PLCs so be prepared to be kept on your toes.
This role will be working a days only panama shift so you won't have to work any nights throughout the year.
To be a good fit for this position, you will ideally be Electrically biased and have had some exposure to Mechanical engineering - a fully multi-skilled background would be advantageous. Experience in the food or FMCG industry is an advantage combined with an understanding for high industry standards and the importance of minimising downtime. If you are looking to develop your skills in a multi-skilled maintenance role in the food industry and want to join an environment that will enable you to hit the ground running then this role could be the ideal next move for you.
If you are a time served apprentice or Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified then this is also a benefit. If this sounds like the role for you and you are ticking the boxes then I look forward to receiving your application. If you do not meet everything mentioned then do not be put off from applying as I am looking to hear from engineers of all backgrounds.
