2022 has been a busy year for recruitment and it doesn't look like slowing down any time soon.
Engineers remain in high demand, especially those looking for permanent nights role. With the food industry growing and businesses expanding, this could be the perfect opportunity to join and be a part of the success.
As a multi-skilled engineer, you will be responsible for working on proactive and reactive maintenance as well as getting involved in project and improvement work as and when required. You will need to have an energetic approach to enginering and maintenance with an eye for detail and a passion for minimising down time. You will be joining a growing department with a structured approach to maintenance and a successful track record in improving site and machine performance.
This position is working a 4 on 4 off permanent nights shift pattern (6pm - 6am), so you will get an extended time off between shifts.
To be a good fit for this job there are a few things you’ll need. Firstly, you’ll ideally need to be electrically biased (or strong multi-skilled) and ideally have good experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g. food, FMCG), ideally with a maintenance focus. You should be used to working in a fast paced environment and have a proactive mindset. If you are a time-serviced apprentice (or equivalent) with any further supporting qualifications (e.g. 17th / 18th edition) then this is also highly advantageous.
However, if you do not meet all of the listed criteria but are looking to expand your skillset then do not rule yourself out.
This opportunity is with a leader in the industry in terms of both brand popularity and role prospects so what are you waiting for?
