A great opportunity for a switched on, forward thinking Production Planner to join one of the most respected and well regarded Food Manufacturers in their sector.
This is a stand-alone role so you will need to be confident in your own abilities to get the task done.
Heavily Excel based system, you will need to be very familiar planning on Excel and not just a number puncher on a ready-made MRP system.
Vlookups, Formulas, Macros, Pivot Table - should all be things you are comfortable doing and not googling what they are!
This is a 9-12 month Fixed term contract and looking for someone to join the business straight away. There will be a hand over with the current Planner so you will not be going in cold.
You will be driving the performance of the team, so you will need to be engaging in your approach, providing support and laying out clear plans and objectives.
It's a lively team and one who like to have plenty of banter around the office but equally know when to crack on and deliver. It goes without saying that you'll need an outgoing and upbeat character to fit straight in.
It is absolutely essential that you have a background in Manufacturing, and ideally Food Manufacturing.
