Technical Account Coordinator
London (part WFH)
After working as a spec tech for a few years it can be a challenge deciding what to do next.
You can chase a bit more money and move company, but really the day to day will be the same.
Or you can go for a senior role where you’re looking after a small team. But again, you’re still going to be doing a tonne of specs work.
And if you’re looking to get away from that, you’re not left with a tonne of options.
This could be the answer though…
The company I’m working with is looking for someone with a solid technical background who can become a Project Manager.
Here, rather than completing the specs etc yourself you will be spending all your time with the customers, project managing the continuous flow of NPD and EPD products from their final creative stages to launch, through the specs, pack copy and artwork approval process.
There’s a massive focus on people here, you’ll be the face of the company and will need to build strong working relationships very quickly with customer stakeholders.
So, if you know what you’re doing when it comes to specs and artwork but want to use that experience in another way, say a project manager or account manager…
