Salary: £33,000 - £38,000
Picture the scene.
It's December 31st. You're sat, socially distanced, with 5 other people.
2020 hasn't gone as planned, but you sit there with your drink in hand knowing 2021 is about to get better. Much better.
You smashed the interview process, and finally, FINALLY, you've got that new Technical role that you've been working so hard to get!
Now you'll finally have autonomy in your role. The autonomy to drive improvements, implement what you want and really make an impact.
You simply can't wait to get going.
And who can blame you? After all, you're going in to a business that has remained consistently busy, if not busier, right throughout this year. On top of that you're going in to work under a manager that is all about succession planning and team development and there's already talk of further progression opportunities!
What do you need to make this dream a reality?
Well, obviously food experience is a must. But don't worry too much about what category of food you have experience with, as they're not too fussy.
It goes without saying that for a systems role, you must have previous systems experience! You'll need to be able to manage the QMS and be confident in writing systems and procedures. You'll also need to have previous HACCP, TACCP and VACCP experience.
You'll need to be able to demonstrate that you can work at pace and under pressure. You know what it's like when you're trying to keep all the customers happy at the same time!
There aren't all that many positions where you'll be given this much autonomy to really make the role what you want!! There is already even talk of getting involved in group level projects.
